Dogsledge trip on the ice cap in July
On this trip you’ll experience the unique way of traveling
Day 1
Boattrip to the fjord
The trip starts with a boattrip to the fjord Nattivit where we go on land and walk up to our basecamp, where you’ll settle in for the rest of the day, and spend the night.
Day 2
Dogsled on the Icecap
The day starts with breakfast and a cup of coffee before we gear up and start the journey on dogsled on the Icecap. We’ll travel 40-50 km before we stop and set up the camp for the night. While you enjoy and take in the impression of the Icecap we’ll cook you a hot meal. After eating we will enjoy the evening till it’s time to tug in for the night.
Day 3
Final dogsled trip
We continue the trip on dog sled, after a couple of hours the amazing view over Sermilik fjord will appear . We continue for another hour till we reach the place where we get off the sled and say goodbye to the dogs and the musher, and start the walk down where the boat is waiting to take you to either Kulusuk Hotel or the settlement Tinit – depending on if your adventure with us is ending after the spectacular trip on the Icecap or if you are up for another couple of adventures day’s with us.
