We welcome you at the airport. After luggage is collected we walk together to the pier where you step aboard the boat, and your arctic adventure starts. We set off towards the fjord system called Nattivit. The first hour and a half will be by coast out in the open ocean and there will be good chances to spot whales. When we reach the Nativity area we’ll set some nets for arctic char, and hopefully we get some fish for dinner. We continue to our first campsite called Tasiilaalik, here  we will put up the camp and cook dinner. In the evening we sit around the bonfire while the sun sets.

After breakfast we board the boat and go we go towards the Greenlandic Icecap, where we will go for a walk. The boatride is about an hour. When we get there we’ll walk up for about a couple of hours, take a break enjoy the view and the spektacular surroundings, before we walk back down to the boat and continue our journey. We now have a long beautiful boatride infant of us through the ice fjord Sermilik. We’ll go far in – pretty near the glacier Helheim which is where all the icebergs are produced.

On the way we’ll try to catch a seal or two. The campsite for the night is Núk, where there is a hut. If you all know each other, or has gotten to know each other very well the first 3 days, you can al sleep inside the hut, feet to feet in bunkbeds. However if you are more comfortable with a bit more privacy we set the tents for the night. We’ll make a barbecue for dinner. It’s possible to go for a small hike around the area.

After breakfast we board the boat and slowly go back towards the village Tinit where will’ll spend the night. We’ll try and get there in time for a shower at the servicehouse. After shower we’ll go fishing for scorpionfish and it’s possible to get a SUP-ride – we’ll off course take pictures of you paddling next to an iceberg !

This evening and night we are staying in a nice house, where we’ll cook dinner and spend the evening.

After breakfast we’ll go in an northeastern direction to a place called Qingerdivat. On the way we’ll make a stop in the village Kuummiut. All the way it’s possible to see whales. When we arrive we’ll set some nets for fishing arctic char. It’s a very nice campsite with good hiking opportunities. We’ll cook dinner and set around the bonfire before it’s time to settle into the tents for the night.

After breakfast we board the boat and go to visit the 2’end world war airbase – Blue east II – Ikateq. The runway is intakt and you can really get a feeling of  “what ones where” – there old trucks parked and the hangar – even though it has fallen down over the years, is still there.

We continue to the main town of the area – Tasiilaq. Here you can visit the local museum and go shopping for nice souvenirs.

We will go camping for the night just outside Tasiilaq at a place called Amitsivardi.
